It might be sad that I am able to dedicate a whole post to napping, but I can admit when I have a problem. College is a place of stress and exhaustion. In high school, you get more sleep. I don't know why, but I was never as tired in high school as I am in college. Now, napping is an everyday occurrence. Have time between classes? Nap. Don't want to write your term paper? Nap. Hungry? Nap. It's a viscous cycle. As a professional napper, I have learned some tricks to get the most out of a nap. The best length of time to nap for is 20 minutes, because it revitalizes your body without making you more tired. Always try and keep your phone alarm near you, because oversleeping a class can happen very easily. NEVER FLOOR NAP. It might be tempting, but your back will never forgive you for it.
